Pandemic Preparation in our Parish for the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19

The province of Manitoba has once again prohibited religious gatherings. Masses and all regular church activities are cancelled. This restriction goes into effect Sunday, May 9th and will last for a period of at least three weeks. While we can no longer gather for Mass or other church activities, individuals are able to make an appointment to come to the church for private prayer. Please contact the parish office if you would like to make an appointment. Mass intentions requested to be celebrated at this time will be celebrated by Fr. Janusz at private Masses.

Masses will be livestreamed from our church:

  • Fridays at 7:00 p.m.

  • Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. and

  • Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

Archbishop Albert has granted all the Catholic faithful of the Archdiocese of Saint Boniface dispensation from their Sunday obligation (cf. Code of Canon Law, 7). Please remember that Manitoba Public Health Officials still recommend staying home if you can to help slow the spread of COVID-19

We look forward to the day when we can gather restriction free again. If you need anything, do not hesitate to call the parish office and we will do our best to assist you. Thank you for your support and for being a part of the community of St. Gerard Parish!
